Flocks & Flowers - an inclusive collaboration between the farms, plants, & mill, powered by friendship & fiber. Naturally dyed, locally processed Puget Sound grown Finnsheep cross wool.
*New for 2026 - We overdyed the gray base for rich natural colors, available in 60 yard minis. Ideal for the Skagit Vest, coming soon from Sarah Pope!*
We've partnered with two amazing woman-operated farms - Sarah Pope of San Juan Woolworks and Emily Tzeng of Local Color Farm & Fiber - to create this one of a kind, limited edition yarn, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
This yarn is truly a labor of love - and it's worth it. The fleeces used for this yarn hail from exceptionally fine Finn and Finn cross sheep from Sarah & Emily’s farms. Soft, sturdy, with good drape, this yarn will be ideal for colorwork, hats, and sweaters.
We used only the natural color of the fleeces and natural dyes for this yarn. While it is colorfast, some pigment may rub onto hands and tools from the pressure of knitting; wash gently in lukewarm water, lay flat to dry. A splash of white vinegar can help settle the dye back into the fibers.
