  • Whidbey Spin In

We're very excited to share we're this years featured speakers and workshop presenters at the Whidbey Spin In in Oak Harbor! It's a real honor to present to this beloved group; you can find all the details through the Whidbey Weavers Guild here.
The Saturday presentation will be 'Exploring Local Wool'; we'll discuss what makes our regions' wool special, and what to look for in fleeces. Sunday's workshop is all about processing and spinning local wool. We'll be providing the fiber packs for attendees as well, including washed locks and roving to spin. Bring your flick carders or hand carders if you have them, otherwise we'll have some for sale at our booth if you'd like to try spinning from clean locks.
