Winter '26 Collection. Meet our newest house yarn! Island Twist is here to stay as a staple for our mill, and in your stash. We've hand-selected beautiful Romney fleeces for color and softness from the Puget Sound region. Blending them with long, crimpy, and super-soft alpaca gives the yarn a sumptous hand and wonderful drape. Next-to-skin soft, you'll love this for cozy sweaters, cowls and shawls, hats and hoods. With a subtle halo, and round 3ply construction, this soft and sturdy yarn in an array of natural colors will create wardrobe staples.

75% Romney / 25% Alpaca from the Puget Sound region; 3ply, sport weight; 240 y / 220 m per 3.5 oz / 100g. 

• Caramel - White Romney / Fawn Alpaca; warm light brown
• Chocolate-  Dark Romney / Mahogany Alpaca; rich warm dark brown

Island Chonk

Behind the name- Sometimes we get to the point in processing where we're about to spin, and we pivot because we know we'll be able to produce a higher-quality product. In this case, we spun this fiber at at aran weight gauge to result in the smooth, round yarn that we always shoot for in our Island Twist!
